The Actual Surgery
Just before you are transferred to the operating room you will
say goodbye to your family or friend. Almost all of my surgery
is performed under sedation and you can be fully awake. Through
the intravenous a short acting sedative is injected and,
shortly after, the eye will be numbed while you are sedated.
You will not feel or remember a thing. The surgery will be
performed. If you wish, you may bring in your favorited CD for
your to share with us during surgery! When surgery is finished,
a patch will be placed on your eye.
