The Recovery Room

Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Otherwise known as the recovery room. You will recover from surgery, check your vitals, receive instructions from the staff and ...............begin eating again! You will be discharged usually in just a few minutes after arriving in the recovery room, but only when you are ready.

You will have an eye patch that will remain until I remove it the next morning.  Tylenol or Advil is about all you need regardless of type of surgery.
